Samarpan Recovery & De-addiction Services was honoured to be invited to present at the 2nd Gorski-CENAPS® Corporation “Preventing Relapse Symposium” in San Francisco, USA. Martin Peters and Obi Unaka shared insights with over 150 professional attendees on applying the relapse prevention model in a cultural context, highlighting how evidence-based approaches can be adapted to meet diverse needs.
The symposium featured a range of highly respected addiction professionals presenting compelling topics, and we were inspired by the depth of expertise and dedication in the room. It was a privilege to engage with so many committed colleagues and to showcase Samarpan’s internationally accredited programs.
We were also delighted to reconnect with friends at Camino Recovery Treatment Centre and strengthen professional networks across the global addiction recovery community. A special thanks goes to Roland Williams, Dr. Stephen Grinstead, and the entire GORSKI-CENAPS Faculty for organising such a well-executed and engaging event.
As India’s only accredited Centre of Excellence in GORSKI-CENAPS® Relapse Prevention, we take pride in bringing internationally recognised, evidence-based relapse prevention practices to our residential programs. Being part of this symposium reinforced our commitment to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care and connecting with global leaders in addiction treatment.
