Sanket is kind, patient, hard-working and passionate in helping others. Sanket holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India, where the modules touched areas such as Addictive behaviours, Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy Interventions and Mindfulness.

Sanket has worked in a variety of both residential and community-based treatment for addiction services. Since 2014 he has supported others to recover, by supporting them to address the comorbid symptoms that can accompany substance abuse, such as ASPD, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Induced Psychosis, BPD, ADHD, CD, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Stress and Social phobias.

He has experience devising and facilitating group therapy sessions, using psychotherapy interventions such as CBT, DBT, MET, etc. Besides psychotherapy interventions he has knowledge of recovery from substance misuse that includes the twelve-step program and solution focused brief therapy. Ishita is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Her academic training has been focused on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various mental health disorders.

Ishita employs various modalities like Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Rational emotive behaviour therapy (REBT), Dialectical behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational interviewing (MI), and Behavioural therapy (BT). She has been trained in various psychometric tools like Personality assessments, IQ and Learning disability assessments, Neuropsychological assessments. Her training has been focused with various demographics ranging from children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric population.

She has worked with an integrative and holistic approach for challenges in Mood disorders, Personality disorders, Substance use disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum, Neurodevelopmental disorders, Neurocognitive disorders, OCD related disorders and other Anxiety disorders.

She can be both directive and non-directive in her approach while working with mental health conditions. Mridula graduated from M.S. University, India with Masters in Visual Arts (Sculpture) and Arts Based Therapy from WCCLF Foundation Pune Mind and Art B.M Institute of Mental Health Ahmedabad and currently pursuing Masters in clinical psychology from IGNOU and is passionately committed to combining both of her interests in Samarpan’s clinical program, having had six years of clinical experience in Mental Health and Rehabilitation settings.

Her practice has extended to economic and ethnically diverse adolescents and adults. Her academic training focused on mental health and addiction (rehabilitation). Her treatment has included mindfulness, person-centered integrative modalities and interventions of Art therapy like Drama, Mandala, draw a Person, HTP, 6PSM (Six Part Story Making), Drum circle and other creative interventions to facilitate a safe healing space and process for each client.

At Samarpan she offers individual and group sessions to the clients with issues of addiction, gambling, PTSD, trauma, Abuse, grief-loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, personality disorder, schizophrenia and Bipolar disorders.

A Registered Nurse, CBT Therapist ,Certified Substance Abuse Therapist, Specialist Alcohol and Addictions Counsellor and Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist working in the mental health field since 1991; Martin has had a wide range of experience in management and supervisory roles within established healthcare systems, and has provided consultancy services to a number of private and public sector organizations in the UK and Asia in terms of management, policy writing, accreditation and recruitment. Martin’s addictions experience has been in developing inpatient services in Asia since 2009, both clinical and operational, and has been instrumental in expanding and developing a non 12 step inpatient treatment centre and opening a further inpatient centre with a 12 step approach, implementing KIPU Electronic Records, strengthening hospital partnerships, introducing a Scholarship for students under the Masters in Addiction Studies Program at The ASEAN Institute for Health Development and working with an international accreditation body. As well as being an experienced administrator of inpatient settings, Martin is an experienced clinician who is skilled in delivering group and individual therapy with a variety of modalities, such as CBT, DBT, RPT and MET. He has opened or restructured six different residential programs, and ran the largest private rehab operator in SE Asia up until 2020. Martin has also been a speaker at multiple international conferences on addiction in UK, USA , Thailand, India, and also at ASEAN conferences. He has also guest lectured at Mahidol University (Thailand), University of Sargodha (Pakistan) Institute of Medical Sciences (Pakistan) and has been a representative on the CARF Standards Advisory Committee for 2016. He is a regular speaker on Relapse Prevention and presented in 2023 and 2024 at GORSKI-CENAPS preventing Relapse Symposium in The USA. Martin has worked closely with The Thai MoPH and Thanyarak institute during his time in Thailand, and was a regular attendee at training and symposiums. Martin worked has Director of Residential Services for Samarpan, from July 2021 and was involved in the opening of a new in-patient facility in Pune, developing the inpatient clinical model, and overseeing the day to day operations of the center and in June 2024 took on the role of COO for Samarpan.

A qualified, experienced and well-respected Addictions Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, trainer and Treatment Director, Obi holds a First-Class honours degree from the University of Bath, a Certificate in Clinical Supervision and a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, UK.

Working as a focal therapist and group facilitator with individuals presenting with problematic substance use and process or behavioural addictions, Obi has also held strategic and operational positions as Head of Service for a Community Rehabilitation programme in Essex, UK and Treatment Director for a private residential programme in Northamptonshire, UK. He has also worked closely with other services providing consultancy on programme and operational development.

Obi is experienced in developing and managing treatment programmes within residential, community and criminal justice settings, and brings a wealth of experience to Samarpan. He is tasked with leading and developing the clinical team.

A well-known and highly respected Consultant Psychiatrist practicing in Mumbai for almost two decades, Dr. Deshpande undertook his Post Graduation in Psychological Medicine from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai.

After training at the Centre of Excellence in Deaddiction at KEM Hospital, Dr. Deshpande initiated community programmes for alcohol and drug rehabilitation. He has worked closely with NGOs and Self- Help Groups to de-stigmatize chemical dependency and help the suffering. He was appointed as the Class A trustee of the General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous India and has the distinction of being the longest serving Class A trustee till now.

Her passion is bringing healing to people who have been through emotional turmoil. Her perspective has earned her the opportunity to work with Samarpan Recovery Services and invest in her skill set in the role of Intake Coordinator.

In addition to his managerial expertise, Yogesh is a Second Dan Black Belt Karate Instructor and holds multiple certifications, including RIP 60 Trainer, Kettlebell Trainer, Pilates Trainer, Kickboxing Trainer, and Commando Trainer. His diverse background also includes competing at the state level in basketball and badminton, which contributes to his holistic approach to fitness training. At Samarpan Rehabilitation Center, Yogesh leverages his extensive experience and diverse qualifications to enhance the center's holistic fitness and recovery programs. His role involves designing personalized fitness and rehabilitation plans that integrates his expertise in various training modalities, from kickboxing and Pilates to kettlebell exercises and RIP 60.
